The #SUCF community came together to honor a true local hero, Josh Brandes, with a workout as tough as he was. The energy was electric, filled with the grief of his loss and the joy of remembering his incredible spirit. Josh`s presence was felt in every rep, every drop of sweat. He may be gone, but he`ll never be forgotten. It was an honor to be a part of this tribute.

Thank you to all of our veterans today, including our very own Timothy Allen Blair. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1972. He served as an electrical repairman on the USS Constellation CVA-64 in the Gulf of Tonkin during the final evacuation of Saigon, causing the Navy to extend his tour of duty for an additional five months at the "request and convenience of the Government." His post-naval service took him to highly skilled electronics design positions within Texas Instruments and is characterized by a high level of civic leadership in local government with the City of Lewisville, where he served on the City Council and multiple City Boards and Commissions.
